Magnificent design realistic and different from what we see such strong and solid appearance gives it a great addition to have a wide range of detail in the muscles, scales and wings not to mention that the scenario leaves a feeling of EPIC WIN.

the easiest way to get that effect is to make it on a really small image in photoshop with the brush set to PENCIL mode. then go to image and make the size a ton bigger but be sure to switch it from BI-CUBIC to NEAREST NEIGHBOR then it'll stay sharp and pixel-like.

Good BUT

I like the aesthetics of well-designed character and way out of the soil is well structured.

But that light totally damage your work, remember it well proper lighting is important, but all in balance and can damage the best job.

The lighting problem is a frequent one with my work- it's half my fault in that I have a tendency to draw lightly and half my scanner's fault in that I have a difficult time getting a scan with a good level of contrast for me to work on. The way all the scans come out, if I mess with the contrast/brightness too much the image can become blotchy and have extremely dark/bright zones that just ruin it.
I know it really damages the image. It doesn't damage the drawing itself (in my sketchbook), which is clean and visible, but it does make presenting it on the internet difficult.

I love the detail in the picture because the lighting and character design are magnificent addition to the naturalness of the tentacles is well known but also the lack of fluid would come out of them.

To you I owe the greatest apology, as I created this Newgrounds account, posted these few pieces of artwork, graciously accepted your "scouting" and then essentially neglected the account all this time (except to vote on some wonderful videos and games I've watched and played over the years).

First, thank you for scouting me. I really should have been giving this account more attention (especially considering my art is being seen here more than on deviantART--lesson learned). And secondly, I did not know you were familiar with my writing as well (it's hard to find as many fans of my writing as my art, as it's so much easier to look at art that to sit down and read something).

Well, I hope I haven't lost you as a fan because of my negligence here on Newgrounds. But thank you again for the scout and the compliments. They are much appreciated.
